Purney Wrench Fetcher P Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 82 Gretna Nebraska	I have a '51 chevy 3100 that I am trying to get started. The engine is not original and looks to be at least 1957 235. The question: Is it possible to visually tell if the system is 6 volt or 12 volt? If the engine was changed to a 1958 235 would they HAVE to switch the system to 12 volt?
