I'm figuring out how to install turn signals on my almost-all-original 1941 pickup. I don't want to add anything that will be externally visible. For the rear, I aim to use one double filament bulb that will serve as the regular rear light, and also as the brake light. This will leave an empty socket, previously occupied by the brake light bulb, that I can use for the turn signal bulb.

I have searched online for a socket for a double filament bulb, with no success so far. Does anyone know where I can find one? Also, how are these sockets fixed in place? Are they soldered, or is it a push fit?

Any suggestions about a better way to do this, within the confines of the original light fixture?
