I've also heard of this potential problem. I'm going to run it directly off a manual switch instead of off a trinary and will use it only when I know I'm going to be puttzing along in a cruise or idling for extended periods of time.
Hopefully, it's location in front of the radiator won't prove to restrict too much airflow at normal driving speeds. Time will tell! Thanks for your comment.
