true- I hate to try to start swapping trany's and truly I expect it will not be driven enough to even justify the cost of rear gears. I was kinda thinking out loud in case I was to find a deal on a set- maybe used that would fit the housing. but if a bolt in O.D. trans could be had for reasonable enough bucks down the road I'd sure be interested. are there any that fit the bill? I have not checked into that possibility.I would like to know what options there are. I do kinda want to keep the old engine and third gear synchronizer is weak for sure.
