Tim, there are two gauges that have terminals on the back, temp and amp. The square connection closest to you is the mechanical oil gauge connection.

I now see the port/fitting for the mechanical oil pressure line.
However, my guess is that the two gauges that have terminals on the back are the fuel gauge and the ammeter.
I think the temperature sender is mechanical (not electrical as used on some (at least in 1954 6v) GMCs?) and is shown as the line/tube with the square-nut above the sensor that goes into the head.
