Hey guys, im pretty new here and im doing a sorta big project to fix up a '68 Firebird that i recently acquired. I have a couple probs i was hoping u guys could help with.
1 - I have an inline 6 in the bird, but it's not the original engine, its actually a chevy engine that had to be put in when the 4.1L-OHC engine gave out. If i could get some tips on identifying what kind of engine i have ( all i know is that is some kind of chevy straight 6 ), i was hoping to purchase some of these Clifford products ( probly up to stage III ) when i figure out what i've got. Have you guys ever tried any of the 6 cylinder products form clifford performance? (
www.cliffordperformance.com ) I heard about them in the 'Best Bolt Ons' story in an issue of HOTROD, but ive never talked to anyone who's actually used thier products, anyone familiar with these guys? got an opinion?
