i have a 53 3/4 ton that had a 216 in it.
i replaced the 216 with a 54 car 235.
the accelerator linkage rods on the old 216 were modified. it looks to me like they were lenthened.
the rod from the pedal to the pivot lever on the block seems to work fine. i get full travel.
i am using the forward pivot stud on the block.
the rod from the pivot to the carb is too long.
the exhaust manifold keeps it from full travel and appears that it would still do so even if i shorten it.

as if thats not bad enough it appears as if the pivot stud will be in the way of the exhaust pipe connection to the manifold. the manifold is the correct part according to hammonds interchange manual. and the pivot stud came with the block.

does anyone have measurements or pictures or part numbers for the correct 235 accelerator linkage?
i'm sure push come to shove i can rig something up but would prefer the real thing.

thanks
rolf
