We just pulled one of our retired trucks off of the fence line. She's a 1966 C50 flatbed. The goal of this project is to bring her back to a functional support truck.
Has anyone done a frame swap on a C50? I have been looking at a 1988 3500 frame as a possible donor. It looks like the cab mounts will be close with some modification.
The reason for the frame swap is to add brake and suspension upgrades. Drum brake are nice, but not good.
