1945 Chevy Pickup

A few shots of my 1945 truck. Today was my first drive on the road. A test drive before the dmv next month. The truck didnt rev nicely and directly thought of sparkplugs. After pulling the cables on by one, with two of them there was no change in idle. With new sparkplus she runs great. Cant wait to get a license plate for her.

Great looking old gal, did you do the work on it? There is a fix for those sagging door handles. Looks like a straight truck outside, any inside pictures? A GMC would have had green fender extensions and running board to bed aprons but I'm not sure about Chevy's, perfect.

Hi. Didnt know about a fix for the door handles. Can you share? Next on my list is to remove the inner door covers to check for rust and replace the window rubbers. What extensions for the fenders are you writing about. Do i miss something?

Thanks

Using the Stovebolt search function (picture of little boy praying in the left margin) type in “How to fix drooping door handles” for several threads on the subject.

You need the Anti-Droop Spring. There is a left and right spring and are NOT interchangeable
