Summer 2008
Joy (from our Welcome Centre) reported that "Tony "sold his '37 and got a 1981 El Cameno. He is having so much fun fixing and going
over everything. It looks sharp. I still have my 1950 Chevy 1/2-ton and will not give
it up.

From: Joy,
This is my husband's '37 Chevy pickup. We did a complete frameoff and I helped him with most. It's got a hot rodded 261 Chevy 6 engine, disc brakes in the front, 3-speed transmission and a '57 Chevy car rearend. It took him one year to the day to complete it.
We bought the truck site unseen from Colorado and it
was a mess. One thing was true, it did not have any rust holes. He worked at
it a little every day if only to sit at the kitchen table to fix a guage.
We use it for work and for pleasure. We would do it all over again.

As a matter of fact, we have ... a '51 Chevy 1 1-1/2-ton pickup and a '45 Chevy 1/2-ton and as of July 2004, Tony's got himself a '50 1/2-ton.
