Hi guys just another old newbie,, running a `64 Chevy SB custom cab, I built the truck first time around in `93
for a daily driver unsure of how long I would keep, well
19 years later still driving it and don`t ever plan on selling it, roughly 190k miles later needs another make over, currently `93 350/350/3.73, PS Jeep tilt column, PB drums, just put in `05 silverado seats, just need to start going thru everything again now that I retired.

Richlindroth, hope you don't end up like me....retired but now wish I was working so I could get some rest smile

Freshing up your truck will probably be more fun now and you can do those things that you "wish you had done" back then. Good luck and let us know how we can help.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

RichLindroth, I just bought 01 Silverado seats (same style as in the 05) and am about to put them into my 65 GMC. Did you run across any issues on the install? I would love to see some photos of how these will potentially look in mine.

See, an old truck is cheaper than a wife, but eventually everything needs to be overhauled a bit.

Good luck with it.

Hi Rich,welcome from Scotland.
You'll have plenty of time to work on you trucks makeover, that's assuming you get all the 'honey do's' done first.

First and foremost you've got to keep the 'boss' happy...... eek

Good luck and enjoy your retirement!
