Please reply with which city you reside (add nearest big town). I'm trying to coordinate linkups for lunch, dinner, beers, etc. I am looking at taking trips from San Antonio through scenic country side to meet up with you guys. Also, We might be able to have groups to help get your truck on the road.
I am currently tracking these Texas Bolters.

Got you in there, Steve! I'll need to catch up with Chris (ndkid275) to see how best to organize this list. And possibly get a map in here. (I like maps!)

Hi Ya'll, brand new here. Matter of fact my 1956 3100 isn't even supposed to arrive here until tomorrow. I sold my '55 Chevy convertible to buy it and sold my 1931 Model A pickup to buy the '55 Chevy. All beginning several years ago. Looking forward to getting to know folks. I live just south of Hico, TX which is famous for self proclaimed resident "Bill the Kid". Located about 100 miles southwest of Ft.worth near Stevenville and Glen Rose.

Mikey, welcome to Stovebolt. This is pretty exciting that the truck is coming in tomorrow. You'll have to tell the story. Being new here, THIS IS A SPOT that is a bit of a guide of what's what here and where to go around the site. Next you'll need to get us some pix of the 1956!!

Opps! Zaloryan is actually the name of a Bolter from Dallas, TX. I fixed it.
MickeyP - It seems you are south of Dallas and west of Waco. Where shall we put you in the list? Or shall we make your city it's own spot? Not a problem to do that.

Hico is just south of Stevenville (30 miles) and about 60 miles northwest of Waco. Put me anywhere, except in the ground. P.S. I just tried to post in the Driveline board and nothing happened.

Mickey, until you've done four posts, you are in "moderated" status. So, your Driveline post is #3 and once you make one more post anywhere, you'll be out of moderation and your posts will show up automatically, AND you'll be able to send and reply to Private Messages (PMs).

Mikey, got it! Thanks. Wonder if we should have these in a different order. Alphabetical maybe? I can do that easily if that helps.

Either way is fine. You decide. Hey, we were neighbors for a while. I lived over in Delaware for about 30 years before moving back home to Texas. Still have a grandson living there. He works at Wilmington University where I taught for 28 years.
PS it's Mickey as in mouse.

Texas, I just read your post on the shock absorbers. Lots of good info there. Thanks for writing all that. I'll include your name on the list! The TC is a nice group. After all, they are TEXANS.

Jim (cc: Chris) I updated the list. Also put them in alphabetical order. I never knew there was a second Atlanta.

Peggy, I put him in the area of Dallas (biggest city) then added smaller town behind it. I figured that they want to know who is closest. Texas is too big to list all the smaller towns.
