We have something similar here in Brunswick, "First Friday". They close off the Main street downtown and allow nothing but foot traffic, local Food Trucks and Bands. There is an area in front of the local Library that is used just for a vintage Car Show. It's usually a great time.

It was a CancEx due to the rain. We have pretty steady rain here all day. Try it again next month. Jerry -- it will be from 5-7 pm around the square in Scottsboro.

Another CankEx due to the T-storms. We'll try again in July. Hopefully the No Kings nut jobs (all 3 of them ...) will get rained out, too.

Well John, I think that quote is directed at me. So as honored adhoc member of the Southern Bolter’s and a upstanding member of the MBA,
I take that as a challenge to attended any event you may orchestrate. I also refuse to be a snobby one ton owner as you have already admitted to being. chug eeeek

Honored to be a part of this great group!

Don ....

Ok fine. Give it a whirl.... but you won't last long. None do. 3804 ownership, by the very nature of merely caretaking the ultimate blending of automotive artistry, engineering, craftmanship and sheer elegance, and through no fault of the owner, just forces a certain swagger. We stand taller (4-6 inches ...) Dogs obey us, women swoon at our approach. Other men want to be us. Fish want to bite on our hooks. It just happens and there's nothing you can do about it.

After you've driven it around for awhile, you'll be talking just like Maj. Winchester on M*A*S*H.

You won't need therapy. (those around you might ...)

Embrace it.

This afternoon/Evening on the Square in Scottsboro. Seven Stovebolts showed up. The white TF left before I could get a picture of it. We parked next to a stunning '55 wagon and chatted with those folks awhile. They are also recent transplants to the Scottsboro area. Ended up meeting and spending time with the folks with the '55 1/2-ton. Hopefully they'll check in here before too long. It was a really nice event. Less than 100 vehicles in attendance, but a nice mix of originals, street rods and modern stuff.

And to cap off the day ...

.. Charlie won the People's Choice Award!

Fun afternoon in Scottsboro!

The 2nd pic of the '55.1 Series threw me for a little loop seeing the steering wheel looks to be upside down - lol. headscratch Definitely looks like you all found a worthy gathering in your new community and I appreciate you sharing the fun. shake

Attended today again. Although ... I took the Binder Dump today.... And I got a LOT of positive comments on the Binder dump. It was the only Binder there.

Anyhoo ... here's a few pics from fellow 'Bolters (who probably don't know ... yet ... that they are brothers here ... No cutlines on the photos, they'll have to speak for themselves...

A couple of them transcend the whole Stovebolt-o-verse into other realms of imaginable grandeur ...

Indeed. There were more than 120 vehicles in attendance. Please forgive me if I find cars (except German ones ...), and trucks made after 1979, ... uninteresting.

The Blue AD had a really interesting grill, the color on the Red C10 was very vivid..And yes we think early Broncos are COOL too.
