We are right at 2 weeks out for the Show, Dave will post the timeline tor the Smoky mountain Nationals on is site. I thought I would lay out the events for our group. There is a group of us meeting in Maggie Valley NC on Thursday morning for Breakfast at the "buttered Biscuit", everyone is welcome to join in. Linda and I will be leaving home on Wednesday and staying over night in Maggie Valley.

PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS A CASH ONLY EVENT!!

I will update this timeline as things progress.

Thursday:
8:30 AM; Breakfast at the Buttered Biscuit.
10:00 AM; Convoy to Townsend (PaPa Joe takes the lead)
12:30 PM; Arrive in Townsend, proceed to Show grounds.
The remained of the afternoon will be to setup our "HQ" site and assist Dave and is crew as needed.
Members can take this time to check into their lodging and rest up.


Friday:
8:00 AM; Meet at the Townsend Pancake House for breakfast
9:00 AM; Proceed to Show grounds, Meet and greet all of our old friends and welcome in the newest members joining us. W
We are raffling off a Craftsman Tool box along with one of Archie's Books.
Jay (Lugnuts) will be doing an overview and breakdown of a T5 Transmission. We will have Tee Shirts and stickers to hand out.
Vicki is bringing her famous cookies, enjoy the day!
6:30 PM; Gather at Big Meadow Campground for "Jamboree" cookout

Saturday:
8:00 AM; Meet at the Townsend Pancake House for breakfast
9:00 AM; proceed to the Show grounds, enjoy the day.
10:00 AM; Judging for "Best Stovebolt"
12:00 AM; Judging results due at Registration Tent
1:00 PM: Gather at "Southern Bolters HQ" for group picture
2:00 PM: Awards Presentation, Center Stage, we are presenting the "Best Stovebolt Award" and announcing the winner of our Toolbox raffle

Sunday:
8:00 AM; Meet at the Townsend Pancake House for breakfast (for those of us left)

There are numerous events and Cruises to join in on, Dave has his own events schedule for the Townsend area.

RLB, Thank You for that. thumbs_up I started this gathering 5 years ago simply to have the chance to meet some of these Folks, it hasn't disappointed in that. Each year we meet new people, such as you and your Wife, and get to see some familiar faces again. This is a great group of people and your one of them.

Just a week away Folks. I hope everyone has their lodging set, with over 360 registered Truck it going to be impossible to findso thing now.

A group of us will be there on Thursday to get things started.

Getting things staged and changing oil this weekend, Vicki baking cookies Monday/Tuesday while I load up, head that way Wednesday and arrive Thursday afternoon. Staying at Best Western until Sunday morning.

6 Days and counting down.. I'm double checking my lists. Linda and I are making up "Grab Bags" and sorting T Shirts. Still a lot to do. grin

We are going to meet Bob(RLB) and his wife Tuesday evening for dinner here in Brunswick.

I have been inactive on this forum for a long time. Haven’t owned an AD or any old truck for 14 years. I’m almost embarrassed. I’m pretty active on several Facebook groups related to old cars and trucks, including the SMN group. Since I now live about an hour and a half from the show venue, I have every intention of being there on Saturday. I will swing by Stovebolt HQ.
