Good morning, Bolters I just bought back a truck that I had fixed up 30 years ago, and used it heavily for years. I had this truck and believed it was a '49 1-1/2 ton based on the title serial number. After hours of research on the web, I now believe it to be a 2 ton. Maybe the VIN plate and title were from something else. I've just had a hotshot bring it a thousand miles to it's new home in east Texas, now the work begins.

Welcome to the ‘Bolt! I’m Happy that you got your old truck back! We would love it, if you expanded a bit on both your story/history, your goals and what if any you have already accomplished on restoring your truck.
Let me give you this helpful guide to help you navigate thru the different forums on Stovebolt.
Again, welcome to the ‘Bolt!

Welcome and very cool to see a story about a previously owned truck coming back home! Looking forward to more on the story and pictures to go along with the tale.
