I used to own one just like it. 1948 Chevrolet. Former Winston-Salem/ Forsyth County Public Library Bookmobile.

This is my home town where I was born/raised and visit just about every week. Not sure if the other side is open or not. I'm old but don't remember this one!
I do remember the next version after this one, which was a step van 55/56 or maybe 57.
