1. Saturday, June 1st, Lurch and I will be in the San Leandro Cherry Festival Parade. Parade at 10:00 am on San Leandro Blvd. (from Marina Boulevard to West Estudillo, ending at Cherry Festival Main Stage). For more info, see https://www.sanleandro.org/depts/rec/special_events/cherry_festival/default.asp

4. Saturday, July 6th, RICKY'S CAR SHOW CANCELED. ;-(

5. Sunday, July 21st, it is finally Justin's turn to make a public appearance. He's going to be in the Hillsborough Concours D'Elegance and will be competing in the Preservation Class. This should be a great show. Here's more info about it: http://www.hillsboroughconcours.org/

7. Saturday, August 17th, Lurch is competing in the infamous Concours D'Lemons in Seaside. Josh will also be there with his '55 Chevy truck 'Rusty'. We will be competing fiercely for the coveted 'Worst of Show' award. Check it out: https://whatsupmonterey.com/events/monterey-car-week/concours-dlemons/444

8. Saturday, September 7th, Justin and I will be at the Orinda Classic Car Show. Here's the details: https://www.orindacarshow.com/

9. Saturday, September 28th, Lurch will make a triumphant return to the Ironstone Concours D'Elegance in Murphys. It's been a few years since he's been there and his fans have been clamoring for an appearance. This year, he's competing in the Tractor and Farm Equipment class. ;-) For more info about the show, see: http://www.ironstoneconcours.org/

Good morning Dean. Several years ago I was looking on Craigslist and came across an announcement for a "150 Mile Street rod Reliability Run" in Sonoma and Marin Counties. It was limited to 1940 and earlier rods and restorations and about 30 vehicles showed up Among them was some truly unique stuff like a Model T Speedster with an ultra, ultra rare Roof overhead valve conversion. My wife and I chose to participate in our roadster and leave the .36 Chevy pickup at home. All of the vehicles completed the run with zero problems.

I don't have the temperament to sit in a lawn chair all day hanging out at a car show so this was perfect for me. My computer skills are lousy so I haven't been able to find that event in recent years. I think you'd like it too so if you stumble across it please let me know.

Hi Ray,

That run sounds fun, except I wouldn't be able to keep up driving my old 4 bangers!

Here's a link about that run from 2016. Maybe the guy who posted the pics (Brujo29) knows who organizes the event.
