The guy running the show we attended in Lebanon, TN is all about the money. The entry fee is now $60 and non-refundable. He has started some other shows in the same venue and it is all about his greed. I remember when I started going to shows back in the 1970's it was all about getting the collectors out to show off what they had accomplished with their blood, sweat, tears and lots of $$$. There were no entry fees for the participants and the public was charged at the gate to gain entry to the show. Now the trend over the years has all reversed...all to win a $10 trophy and a goodie bag with mostly useless items that have been donated by sponsors.
WE MAKE THE SHOW and incur travel and lodging expenses for guys like this to make a living off our hard work.
