Lighting is everything. The original color goes from hues of brown to gray/silver to what looks to be exactly "right" depending on light source and the angle at which one is viewing the panel. That is what makes this debate so "colorful". This is why one can easily find this topic in the Search function by simply typing, "No, you're stupid, Fatso."
