truck restorationFrom Jack :

I just thought I'd share pics of my other 1965 Chevy. This truck has a stock 283 and Powerglide. It's been repainted this red / orange color. I'm thinking about repainting it back to the original "fawn" but a metallic (like the interior).

I don't drive it to work but I do drive it just about everyday. In fact, I make up reasons to drive it. It gets thumbs up were ever I go.

The front brakes have been changed to a 5 bolt disc set up with booster from a 1971 Chevy. I plan to change the rear axles to 5 lug also, maybe with disc, too.

The original bed floor is still intact. I added a chrome front grille and bumper.

Future plans are to install tinted glass, a third brake light, chrome rear bumper and maybe lower it just a little.

I really wanted to work on it with my 15 year old son but he hasn't caught the "truck bug" ... yet. I have more picture on my Webshots account.

          Thanks. I love this site.

Thanks,

Jack Folk
