Harold46 originally found this tip on the VCCA web site. We got permission from the author to add it to our site.

Now all we need are some photos to go along with this tip. Fred has already received a few and he'll send me the ones I need to go along with this.

In the meantime, check out the tech tip for finding the right radio for your truck. If you've got some photos, send them directly to Fred -- fred.nixon@sympatico.ca

Peg

PS - I'm going to delete the initial post started by Harold so we're not looking in two places for the same information.

Any other Questions, go ahead and post here. We have a few people who are involved in this TT who may be able to help. And then we'll modify the TT as need be!

Thanks everyone!

Peggy

1958GMCNut,
thanks for that link. That site has an amazing amount of information on it. I am going to be looking at photos for correct truck radios shortly and that site will be extremely helpful!

That's a good link. We put it in the Lots O Links yesterday, too.

Gosh, now I need to find out if Google will let us use any of the images to go with the truck descriptions. Yea right! But, I'll try.

Good job Dave!

Fred,

I got the pictures you sent and have updated the tech tip to this point. (In case anyone didn't notice, this TT has a whole folder of its own now.)

Hope to get some more photos for the year groups that we are missing.

Thanks for that great link Dave. I'm about to send an email now to see if we can use specific images.

Peg

Never mind! This looks tooooo hard. I looked into the 1939 file and man a live! There are a lot of radios just there.

I'll wait for Fred ....
