Hi all!
I'm Ken Bailey from Milpitas,Ca.... I have 1955 2nd series GMC. Here are some pics of the "yellow bird" as my neighbors call her... I got her in May from the guy who had done the seats and carpet on my conv. ..he had done the interior in yellow and black and did the doors and roof in ostrich...Someone before him had swapped out engine and rear end to a 250-1brl and open 307... still had the granny low 4-sp growler and chattering clutch. She had an odd power steering set-up and was twitchy down the hwy. I had an adjustable coil-over put under with power disc brakes and solved that...I had a t-350 put in too and a tilt col. I have installed a new tank under the bed and remove the cab tank for more leg room.My nickname is THE BEAR and with my size I needed all the room I could get.
I have heater, radio, gauge, electric wiper etc. to do yet,but she drivable and fun so far....

Same colour (I think) as my '56, though the paint is far worse on mine. Mine's a Yellow Rose of Texas, but living in Ireland now.
