I mentioned to Pat that I would love to have an old truck when we were at a cruise night with his 66 Impala. A couple of weeks later Pat found a 49 on ebay. We watched it all week, Pat called the gentleman a couple of times, He did not give us much information on the truck just said that it runs good needs master cylinder. To our amazement no one on the truck except for us.

So Pat was off to rent a trailer and on to Wis. to pick up the truck. We had to push it off the trailer and have been working on it ever since. I haven't had a chance to drive him yet but the motor sounds real good.I hope the pic come through please let me know.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

You guys have been busy.....Stanley looks great!
Love the visor too.
It'll look good out cruising in front of the '66 Impala! wink

I've definately got this truck thing in my blood ... my DNA sequence has torque settings

Thank you everyone I a so excited I love my truck!!!! Unfortunatly it is getting cold here. Not that that matters I will still drive once he is on the road. As long as there is no salt on the roads I know that his heater works good. Yesterday Pat and I with the help of one of our neighbors put up a temporary garage for him. We have been working so hard on Stanley and Pats poor Impala has been sitting out in the rain and yesterday it had ice on it. The visor we found on ebay it was missing the center trim piece, so the search was on for a center piece but we finally found one on ebay. The folten visor was in real good condition and looks real great on Stanley if do say so myself. Hoping to get tires today but still have to wait for the parts for the brakes next project.
Thank you for looking
Patty
