Hey everybody...figured I would share a little info on our new '48 1 ton grain truck. I found it on North Platte's Craigslist, out in the Sandhills, far away from virtually everything! Family owned since '62 & a neat old survivor. It runs & drives but needs minor brake work & radiator sealing. Rust-free as the day is long!

Teaser picture.

I do have a couple of questions after looking the truck over....
Who supplied the grain box?
Are there supposed to be shocks on the rear?

Hey Doug, that's a nice looking truck. Too bad the grain harvesting is done for the season. Good luck with it!

Could be a Load King/Lode King bed since they have been making them forever & it looks like one of the many I have seen on trucks from the 40's-50's-60's...joe
