It sure makes it look like a truck. Ever once on a while one needs to do something like this to convince oneself that progress is being made. Of course I'm sure it set you back something like $3,000.

looks great! Im guessing those wern't cheap .
Other than rebuilding the engine, that's probably one of the most expensive things that gets done on the bigger trucks.
That's something I need to look into once I get my frame done, & the axles & suspension put back on.
It's all time & money.

Oh my brother you caught me, yep, I put one on the spare carrier. Thanks again Baldybenny for the for the loan to put these tires on. Without that, this is a really long road to finish. Thanks again Dan, love you man.....Rick.

You got it Crenwelge, right around $3K, My awesome brother Baldybenny made it possible. He said I'd be to old to drive it if I waited to buy tires for it....I love the smell of new rubber in the morning.....Rick.

Thank the CCKW Gods that you didn't get NDTs. They look great, but are the absolute worst tires for pavement.

They look good. Tubes and all were well over $3k.... I know how you feel. I have to shoe a G506 (7 tires) and a CCKW (11 Tires).

No one gives discounts, either frown

Ever consider 9.00x20s?

Pfarber, how are you?, I could have put on 9.00's and I wish I kind of did now there's room. These are 8.25x20 Pacifica's from Les Schwab. Good tires from what I've heard. They broke down and got rid of all 10 old tires for free, and when you put in sand blasting all the rims and painting them, it's big bucks. But worth every penny to see it rolling again. The smell of all that new rubber is intoxicating to say the least. Hey if you need any G506 stuff, PM me, my brother and I are sitting on some things. "The CCKW Gods"....that's a good one!!

Bubba - Curmudgeon

What brands and vendors do you recommend for 9.00 x 20 tires (standard/highway tread)?
