This 1940 GMC AC 302 1 1/2 ton dually pickup. It's original design was a Brush Fire Truck. The Legacy: this Bohemiath of a truck! It worked for the California Forestry Division for the first 50 years of it's life. The first 25 years was on active duty, the last 25 was on reserve. From there, she (Bohemiath, I like that name)worked for a lumber yard (another 20 yrs) near Paradise, California. We purchased this ultra rare truck and she now lives with us in Texas. We took the fire equipment off and is now just a dually and has 30,000 original miles, with original motor. Hope y'all all enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoy the truck ! Randy & Jana Cox

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

Hey Mr. Spanky, If you type in the link the pics will pop up. I had trouble posting but will try and figure out to fix. This is the first time I've tried to post pics any input on doing this will be greatly appreciated. We've had this truck for a couple of years now. We drive her on the weekends. Torn between restoring or leaving as is. It has such character the way it is and most everyone that sees her loves her paint and her scars.

Thanks a bunch

Well, come get a sneak peak at the rest of Randy's and Jana's story. They are having waaaaaaaaaay too much fun with this truck!

Check tex's signature line. It'll go up in the main Gallery tomorrow.
