Is this too close and should I put up a heat shield?
Its been that way since I got it.

I don't see a fluid reservoir in the picture. If you're talking about the power brake booster, the answer is yes, and YES! Heat shields are a good thing, especially when they're protecting something you're betting your life on, like a brake system.

Ahhhh yes!! And the ever popular cookie sheet drip pan!!!! Lol.

It’s actually an official drip……………the wife repoed her cookie sheets.

Nice!! I ended up with pipe wrap and shield. Did the donuts and down close to
the power steering. Also underbed.

Shield is hard to see....

You can some discoloration to the bottom side of booster.
