Apparently Apple does not support Firefox anymore or at least my 3 year old OS does not. I don’t use the big Mac in the office much anymore as I do most of my computer work on my iPad. What is a simple, easy to understand Browser for a computer dummy to install and use on a Mac desktop? Preferably at no cost. Thanks
Do you have the latest version of FF? It's usually the application supporting the OS, not the other way around. I'm using FF version 68.0.1.
Google Chrome - works the same on all platforms.
You can get you bookmarks to be shareable/useable over all platforms.
Tiny, tried to upload the latest version of FF but my current OS won’t load it and my old FF version quit working altogether. Think, but will have to check, my OS is Snow Leopard.
Tim, I do have Safari but have never used it as a Browser on the Mac. I do use it on my iPad.
Are you sure that Apple does not support/allow FireFox on your iPad?
Maybe it is an older iPad?FireFox on iPad
What computer (and OS version) do you want FireFox on?
Tim, not concerned about the iPad I have never installed or tried to install FF on it. I just need to figure out a browser for my desktop. As I said I’m not very computer savvy.
iMac and Snow Leopard I believe.
I found that FF has ended support for Snow Leopard. It ended in 2017. You'll have to change browsers or your OS it guess. I've not used Safari or Chrome in a long time.https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-osx
Working on changing OS to a later version. Just set preferences to open Safari as the Browser and am installing some updates. I have admittedly neglected the big boy for awhile so I’m giving it some love today. Thanks
