Does anyone recognize the purpose of these two electrical devices that clamp onto a bar mounted neat the top of the firewall of my 1054 3600 Chevy pickup? The truck was converted by the previous owner to 12v generator system.

My guess is two resistors wired in parallel. They were probably installed during the 12 v conversion to drop the voltage back to 6 v for some device (heater motor?).

Where do the two wires leaving the pix on the lower right go?

Thank you that makes sense. I’ll trace the wires
