This is just a FYI broadcast for those who want to know what's shakin'.
One year we did our tour at the American Truck Historical Society HQ building, which is very close by. It was interesting for the group and most were amazed how much information on trucks and trucking they had.
Well, they still have all that information. They have been working on digitizing it. They just recently hired a real librarian who will sort it all out and set it up so what was lost can be found. They hope to have an on-line catalog by the first of the year.
So, it will probably be fruitful to go visit them again next year! The current ATHS President lives near us (we belong to the same local chapter) so maybe we can convince him to convoy out with us for the 10th Reunion.
