I am saddened to hear that we lost George. He was very encouraging to me and I will always be thankful for his support. I was hoping to visit him in September in Winnipeg but I guess it wasn't meant to be.

My deepest sympathy goes the family and friends of George.

dadgum cancer finally got him, dang.

I just read this, Jarge was good people.

He was nice about sending me cool photos of his big bolt... he knew a lot about it!

He set a good example for 'how to be a great stovebolter'.

Just re-reading my post on Jarge. My neighbour was the first female pilot hired by Air Canada and Jarge did the hiring. Like so many of us, here on the 'bolt or in the aviation biz she thought he was a great man.

I found an old email from 2013 and Bill also found this link for Jarge's 1946 Chevy 2-Ton.

Another fond memory ...
