Weeds,
Do you have any pics of those latches. Their website says these are bolt on and no welding. Is there any cutting needed. I have been lusting for the Bearclaw latches but am not ready to cut and weld and repaint yet.

Finished the driver side parking brake Replacement and adjusted brake. Flushed brakes. Had a great test ride. First time since I inherited this truck that the parking brakes will hold the truck in place on a slope!

On the 3600 that is.

You know you only truly love your old truck or tractor after the point at which you are ready to push it off a cliff, but you suck it up, get it running, and get it back into service...... The 3rd time

Found out that I might be able to use my distributor. Added power steering fluid, added anti-freeze. Found some leaks, took care of those. Tried the 90* intake elbow.

Finally got the possible replacement 235 for my 37 in the garage, its been covered up behind the garage since last fall and now inside so I can now make a stand to fire it up on. Its supposed to have less the 20,000 miles on it but I have doubts so I want to hear it run

My Mom and Dad visited for the weekend and the project was to recover the seat and door panels on my '51 3100. The old cover was ok but not really that orignal looking. My dad has done upholstery work as a hobby for 40 years so he taught me some of his tricks. A great weekend with Dad and I think the project turned out pretty good. Will continue to spruce up the interior in little stages. Here is a link to an album showing the project.

kennycj, I know the feeling, I spent most of the weekend working with my son installing a Painless Wiring Harness on the '37 hotrod. We don't get to work together much anymore so it was a good couple of days.

Finally got my finger out and did the P/S door seal, got the door back on just as the 'liquid sunshine' started....
That's the cab all buttoned up with all new seals etc,it's pleasantly quiet, rattle, draught free and refined for a 63 year old.

I've definately got this truck thing in my blood ... my DNA sequence has torque settings
