The metal piece below the door sill is gone on my suburban. Anyone use Carter's SM574 and SM575? Are they the correct pieces or are they to fix the doors? Anyone replace metal that attaches on the back door sill? Thanks V/R, Nick, Bel Air, MD

Those 47-55 panel-body bed-end repair-panels will repair/replace what many people call the rear door sill. They are well made by a master metalman.

Tim and I both are on the same page, I also call those the rear door sill. I bought the set from Ray "Metal Man". I have mocked them up but have not yet installed them. The quality is very good.

These patch panels are for the top portion only and they come in two pieces for the portion that is just under the door inside as the door closes. I don't believe that you can purchase just the piece that is below the outside of the door and above the rear valence.
