I'm new to Stovebolt and just picked up a '59 283 4spd, it has a generator hooked up and a 12V voltage regulator so trying to determine whether it's running on 6v or 12v. The wiring appears to be original. What is best way to determine. Thanks.

all Chevs were 12V after 55 .... check a factory manual, for '59 you need the '55 shop manual and the '59 supplement, as well as the '59 operators manual Bill
