So where are the Chicago area bolters? I'd like to meet up with some local stove bolters. I never see any on the streets. The only one I have seen recently was last year at Service Spring in Melrose Park. It was a green 49 or so 3100. Where are the Chicago area guys?

We are in the process of getting this one together. Give me one more week and we'll get the areas, POC's, dates and times together.
Mick Casey is the lead on this ... I am the one behind.
I actually pulled out one of the grand-kids maps to see what's what (Geography was never my strong point). Gosh there are a lot more states in the "middle" of the country than I ever thought about.
Anyway ... stay tuned!

We are in Romeoville- saw a nice group of late 40's through early 60's trucks on the main street car show ( open to all vehicles by the variety I saw there) in downtown Plainfield Tuesday night- Not sure it that is an every Tuesday night thing in the summer or not-

Nope- looks like we missed that... they have a show in Lemont every Wed, and in plainfiled on most Tuesdays- descent truck turnout at each.

Well, don't know how much longer I'll be on this forum, but I'll still come out to the cruise nights... I talked to the wife this weekend and decided that I have to sell the truck because when we have kids, we need a backseat so we can carry them around. darn shame. Its in the classifieds section now. darn shame.
