Our car club had its first cruise of the spring. It was a beautiful day, the truck is running great and I'm glad the rain held off since I need to replace the wiper motor...

Mine is the ugly stepchild.

Mine is uglier than that and I park it right up front.

Picked up 20 bags of blow-in insulation and a big ol' blower from Lowes. After a long 2 days of getting the stuff in the attic, took the blower back to Lowes and spent almost 2 hours getting back home. Just felt like driving, and drove with the windows open until I was no longer covered in insulation! Lot's of "nice truck!" and thumbs ups today.

Spent the afternoon giving the '51 burb a tune-up, grease job and new fan belt in preparation for a 150 mile run to the beach tomorrow and a little vacation. I'll let you know how it goes.

The club I'm in in Mineral Wells held our car show today. I entered the '54 and Mrs. Cletis entered the '56. No plaques but I got a free pizza and she got a tire balance and rotation in the door prize drawings.

Socket Breaker

I drove around 93 miles or so yesterday and went to two different cruise in's on the other side of town. I'd never been to either one, nice turn out for both.

Truck rode great with the usual rattles.

Life is good when the old truck is running right.

I went to another local show this morning with a bunch of high dollar rides and it was packed, but amazing turn out.

Good times.

I'm helping a friend move, about a 1/2 mile! Got the old single wheel Allstate on behind the bus. Nothing like being a show off in the parking lot, backing up in circles.
