Fine looking rig! I don't think any color looks more genuine 1950's than that seacrest/turquoise/aqua. thumbs_up

I’d like to know more about the ‘54 with the For Sale sign in the windshield; the stance looks non- stock?
Yes it's lowered has inline 6 and believe he said it was a 250. Sent you a PM with the phone number if you can't make it out from the pic.

Drove the Stovebolt.com flagship (Ole Charlie, the '49 3804) to our local downtown annual car show. Parked right behind a friend's beautiful Transtar.

Fun day -- Talked to a lot of folks.

I've spent altogether too much time behind the wheel of both of those trucks; the Transtar about 50 years ago; the Stovebolt is parked in the yard.

Finally took the truck for a spin today. Went down the road a couple miles and up the road to the store an back.
Ran pretty good, shifts easy and drives easy too. Last time I drove it, it didnt have a windshield .. lol
Gonna venture out a lil farther tomorrow. Gotta get the seat in and bolted down good.
Been a couple weeks since It had be cranked ,but it fired up and idled real good 👍

That's pretty good. Overall that truck looks pretty straight.

I drive the We B Old mobile at least once a week, mostly on errands. Now that the issue of the oil leak has been fixed I will drive it more often.

What about that problem you had where it was stalling out? Did you solve it?

Today was the ‘62 C-10 turn to make the trip into town for breakfast. Discussion turned to Corvair Convertibles. One of the guys is a Corvair enthusiast to say the least. He’s had 12 of them. After breakfast Ms Kathy and I drove around admiring all the new construction in town before stopping by the donut shop for some power rings. Then a cruise east of town past the new LKQ salvage yard. They have about a 40 acre facility surrounded by a 8’ metal security fence. You cannot see what’s available inside. Large 8 bay shop sitting in the middle. Then drove home and put the truck up on the lift for some maintenance.
