I just did a Google Satalite view by clicking on Tim's link. The point that Google shows is not the Salvage yard locations. zoom out to the 1000' scale on the map and move to the lower left of the map, there are 4 different locations. The one on the South side of Rt 222 before you get into town is the yard we walked. The long skinny yard to the North of that one we missed and there are two smaller yards on the West side of town, across the Hwy from each other. The office is at the yard on the South side of Rt 222 in-town. I think you could spend a week in here and not see it all. Mike B

Mike; That place looks bigger than Leon's. What is the oldest stuff they have in there, kinda hard to see from the satellite view.
road trip...........

John, It's BIG, it's FLAT and almost no trees so ther's a lot packed in there. It's also ALL trucks with some farm equipment. For my pictures, cut and paste the link in my earlier message. I still don't know how to make the picture link thing work automatically (words with the underline)... Mike B

Finally figured out how to cut and paste link. I usually run up and down I-795 a couple of times a week. been tempted to cut off on 222 and try and find it but usually pressed for time and wary of getting off and not being able to safely park tractor trailer.

As I recall the State road in front of the junk yard is two lane road with a shoulder. I don't think there is anywhere to park a 18 wheeler except for on the shoulder... Mike B

Mike, there is a thread on the ATHS site about junk yards an this is what one of the guys had to say about Greens, "all of the old stuff at greens is gone... cleaned up all the yards just got one site still operating with late model stuff in it....". What a shame.
