Hello all,

I stumbled onto the Old Dominion Stovebolt Society postings on stovebolt.com and had to say "Hello".

I am in Fredericksburg, VA area and you do not see to many stovebolters in these parts and I am glad to see a local forum to exchange ideas, meet and greet.

I has been about 3 years and I am about halfway complete on my grandfathers 1953 GMC 1/2 ton pickup frame off restoration.

Here is a link to the photos. Grandpa's truck was pretty rough when I picked it up.

Jay Leathers

Truck looks nice! You'll have to meet up with the gang at the next event.

Looks like you are doing a great job. Can't wait to see the finished product. Chris Sweet lives down your way, I'm sure he will check in soon.

Yes, Indeed -- Welcome Jay. As the guys are saying, we have a pretty active group of 'Bolters in this area and we have some doings (and undoings ...) coming up next month and through the winter. John
