What a day. Start the day with a Presidential Breakfast at the IHOP then off to the yard. This place is huge. Thankfully we were handed a map of where the trucks were located or we would still be looking. This yard has a lot of stuff in it.

It was a blast to hang with Marlow, Hambone, Apart Hillbilly, and Dave

Dave, it was a pleasure meeting you.

I will upload my pics when I get a chance.

I got a call late last night that changed my schedule for today, so couldn't make it.
As mentioned, I've been there several times, and it sounds like the same as it's been.
Mainly wanted to come and meet the guys....maybe next time.
Glad you had a good day.

Victor, too bad you couldn't make it, it would have been nice to meet you. That goes for all the rest that had things come up and change your plans. We had a great day and you all were missed.
As I told Sweet, even if you don't find anything you are looking for, nothing better than treking through a huge junk yard looking at old iron with buds. Did I mention it was my anniversery today and my wife said go and have fun! So thats what I did. How cool is that.
Nice of the Pres to join us for breakfast.
Dave L, nice to meet and hang out with you today. Sorry we kept getting separated. I guess it was the lure of the treasures that kept pulling us along.
Thanks again, Sweet, Andrew, Dave and Hambone for a fun time today.
So when is the next one? I'm ready!
The only thing not nice was my trip home. Got about 20 minutes up the road and 29 was shut down. I mean parked. I sat in the truck and listened to the sat. radio for an hour and ten minutes before the road was reopenned. Evidentally, a tractor trailer tried to make a uturn and got hung up across the road in the culvert that divides the road. I got home around 5:45.
Oh well, still a good day all in all.

Thanks to all that carried my tools and brought me lunch. Next time I will bring a smaller hammer and my lighter sockets so my bag doesn't wear you-all out.
Had fun. Slept hard Friday night and woke up to light snow covering. Good timing for the field trip.
