Unrepentant VW Lover
Gang -- Last weekend, we discussed an early january jaunt to Leon's in Culpepper.

Mike B tells us it's just a few miles South of Culpepper on Rt 29.

Needs to be a weekday...the yard is open from 8am - 4pm and no one is admitted after 10am. All of your tools, lunch and water need to be carried in (back pack). It's to long of a walk back to the car if you need something to take a part off. The prices are not cheap, but there are lots of parts still there.

More discussion needed on when and who's going.

Note to non-ODSS members/non-attendees -- please don't send us wishlists. You gotta be present to play!

I'm ready whenever...you guys that work for a living can pick what day works for your schedule.

For me this can be a "day trip" as it's only about a 2 hour drive each way or we could do a night over and walk two days in a row...

Mike B :)

I'm up for it too. Might just end up being a day trip deal as I don't think we have anyone near there where can make base camp. Although, it will be a long day to cover it all.

I still would like to hit the "Honey Holes" in beautiful Fulks Run Va. at some point.

I'm interested except for having to use a day's vacation and the "prices are not cheap" part.
Sounds like it's worth a trip though just to see what there is to see.

Hey guys, I'd like to tag along. Let me know when you're going as I can do any day or two. I'm in Richmond and it's just a little drive up 522 to Culpepper.Larryw

Keep me posted. I'd like to go if the date suits. I've been to Leon's, and its an adventure. I'm about an hour and change from there in the Shen. Valley.
