help please : is 50 chevy truck seat same as 58?

hi
help please: is 1950 chevy truck seat same as 1958? A friend needs a seat for a 58 and I have a 1950 seat.

I would suspect that since the cabs are different, the seat mountings would be as well.
My '59 had a later model bench seat in it with some square tubing pieces used as risers/adapters. The seat served it's function but didn't fold down... I yanked it out and found a correct seat.
Your seat will probably work in the truck with some tweak.
I'm only speculating, mind you. Someone with actual experience may pipe in soon. Good luck!

I believe the 58 is wider than the AD so the answer is no. tell him to measure and check the bone-yards.

nothing similar about them, frames are different configuration, cushions mount different, sizes differ
