This is also posted in the General Truck Talk forum but no response there so hope you folks can help.

I have this old Harrison H-02-46 model tagged heater in really nice rust free condition. It is different than the one in my 53' 1/2 ton. No info in the Shop Manaual as it was a dealer installed accessory and I'm sure had it's own installation instructions.

Can anyone identify and tell me what car/truck it was for?

Thanks.

Thanks Tiny. It was the back side and didn't show much anyway. I removed it.

Dave,

It appears it is for a 47 Chevy Fleetline???
The second link below identifies it. Click on the "To see pictures click here" line.

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

I have that very same heater (same numbers too) in my '53, but it isn't correct. Thanks Dale, I only knew it was from a car but you narrowed it down.

Thanks Dale but I don't think the Fleetline part has anything to do with it. Maybe just for 47-48 Chevy.
