new to the forums. I am a retired truck driver and live in the lower mainland of British Columbia Canada. I have a 48 3 window p/u that was a mess when I acquired it, so I am making a kinda rod out of it. I clipped the front with a 80 camaro z28 clip, boxed the frame,Zed the frame 2 1/2 inches, made cross members, relocated the tank to the rear of the frame,I channeled the body 2 1/2 inches
, and am in the process of chopping the top, also 2 1/2 inches.I have the chassis part roughley finished and can move it on its ownpower..

Welcome to the bolt z48. This is a good site no matter what your doing to your truck. Hang out with us in the garage and you'll see what I mean....... now, how about a pic on your progress.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Hey welcome z48 from the east part of Canada. Moving under it's own power is more than I can say for mine. Good luck.
