Help!
I am trying to put in door windows and Vent Windows in a 1956 GMC pickup.

They came out but how do they go back ?

Just be careful not to scratch the paint when inserting the vent division bar/channels into the doors. The brackets on the bottom can make some nasty scratches if not careful.

Yeah, but can I assume that the vent window assembly goes in BEFORE the window regulator?

Actually the vent assembly will likely go in last, at least that's the way it is with most cars and trucks.

IIRC, the vent goes in first, then the regulator. Make sure the regulator is retracted somewhat.

I'm old, but I thought I did the vent first without the regulator so that I'd have more room in there. Then after installing the vent/channel LOOSELY, and inserted the regulator and got the screws in a few threads. I kept it all loose to get some extra wiggle. I think side glass was last.
