thanks for reply. My truck has 15" rims on rear, 14" rims on front. I dont know if 15" rims are correct, or are the rims supposed to be 16" only, or 17" only. what diameter rims were offered on 51 chevy truck?

Did you look at the information for 3100 (1/2 ton) trucks at OldSub's link? All your questions are answered there.

15" wheels were optional on 1/2 ton 1951 trucks and 16" wheels were standard.
