It took the last two days but I got the CPP power steering kit installed on the ‘59 Apache. I have long headers so it took some serious clearancing for it to fit around the 400 series power steering box....block hugger headers are the way to go. Anyway, I drove it around town today and can’t believe how well it handles.
I ordered block hugger headers, stainless exhaust kit, Borla mufflers and rectangular exhaust tips to exit before the rear wheel last night.

Got my new-to-me speedo installed and hooked up. If the weather finally clears up here tomorrow, I might take Crush around the block to test it.

I ordered this kit from CPP last month and it's still on back order. From looking at your pictures I don't believe I'm going to have that issue with my headers. Once I saw how easy this box would mount up I scraped the idea of mount the box outside the frame rail and moved the shocks back to their original location. Now I just need the steering gear. dang

That looks great, TUTS. I don’t think you will have any issues. Good luck!

Resolved my mystery melting wire issue yesterday (thank God!), today I plan to do a test fit of some brake lights. When the lights light, you know you're close to seeing some asphalt again!!
