Started to help my dad clean out his shop. Found a box with 4 Stromberg 97 carburetors in it. Came home and managed to knock a hole in the radiator of my 54.
Great weather.

Overcast and pleasant Saturday morning. Rolled up the garage door, cleaned the bugs off the front of the 59 from previous weekends cruise-in to Cordele, rolled the garage door back down. Ready for next weekends local VW club event.

Finished painting the top and back of the cab in satin black. Began work on rust spots at the bottom of both doors. FINALLY got rid of the Vise-Grips I'd been using as a driver's side window crank and installed the new cranks on both doors. Used JB Weld to keep the bottom of the driver's door glass in the regulator channel. I even have a working door glass!
Installed a new clutch pedal pad...that thing has been bare metal since I got it and I finally got around to putting one on it. I'm not sure I'll know how to use it.
Found that the passenger door is hopelessly stuck shut. Pulled the inner door panel off and verified that the actuator arm is being moved by the handle. It is. Tried giving the latch a little more help with a screwdriver. Didn't work. Door is still stuck.
Ohh...and I cleaned the garage and weeded a flower garden. Not bad for an old man with a bad heart. I had to do this in 15 minute spurts, cuz I run outta breath real easily. But I'm happy that I got some stuff done.

My stovebolt is in the work mode....grain racks are being put back on so we can haul boxes. The place is sold and we start moving this week. Hopefully after June 15, I can get back to some body work.

Not much.Put new spark plugs in the 72.That right bank is really a lot of fun, with the AC unit right there and the headers hiding the plugs. Both forearms bruised up pretty good, but it runs like new.

I removed the remaining glass from the cab of my 5 window. Also, I spent some time trimming and shaping the right kick panel, getting it ready to be welded in place.

Worked hard around the house all weekend, EXCEPT for a 3 hour break on Saturday eve to take the 55.1 for a cruise to town, ice cream with the Classic Tailgaters and just hung out on the main drag for a while ;~)
Life is good! Buddy

Got the Terraplane ready to go to the upholstery shop (Tuesday). Took some better pics of the '46; now I need to develop them! Got my Cumminsbolt back, it has a new clutch and a rebuilt injector pump. Put the camper jack extensions on. Mowed. Watched NASCAR Saturday night. Fixed the neighbor's instrument cluster on his 'bolt. Another exciting 100+ degree weekend.
