Well the truck arrived late last night and I have never seen my wife so happy. I think I already lost the keys to my truck. There are a couple of small problems with it but nothing serious. The clutch needs to adjusted and the drivers side door doesn't stay closed. I think I need to get a new door latch. I looked the truck over from top to bottom and can not find a spec of rust on the body. They sent the original hub caps but not the wheels. I'll have to pick them up around here or find something that is close. The steering and front king pins feel nice and tight. We drove it around the block with my wife setting next to me keeping the door close. I just hope nobody saw that because it looks really funny but I felt like I was back in high school with my girl friend sitting next to me (I wonder if kids now know that feeling). I'm looking right now on where to find a new latch so if anyone knows of a good place to get parts please let me know. Knowing how my wife feels about this old truck I'm going to have to get fixed in a hurry. HAHAHA

Glad to see the truck home!! I knew the wife would be thrilled once it was there.

If you check out the LINKS page, there is an abundance of truck parts sites most of them tried and tested by Bolters from the site.

Congrats on the new addition!

Welcome Neighbor!

I'm in Fallbrook. That's a great looking '55! I'll definitely be at the the Big 3 swapmeet. Hope to see you there.

Hey Mike,
What day are you going to go? I am cruising solo and I thought it would be cool to meet up with another five-8 fan. Let me know
