Hello to all I just registered not too long ago and thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Adam and I live in Ratliff City Ok. I'm new to the old chevys but have had an old International for some time now. I just recently acquired a 63 Chevy 2 ton fire truck that I'll be picking up this weekend in Crossville Illinois. I have also purchased a 55 Chevy 6500 flatbed here locally. For $50 I couldn't go wrong with it. The firetruck has a newly rebuilt engine and is in really good shape. I have wanted a firetruck for a long time and my wife bought this one for me. The 55 has a straight 6 that is locked up but the body is in great shape. I am not sure if I'll fix the 6 or try to drop a SBC in it. I am hoping to use it to haul hay or my tractor or scout. I apprieciate all the information you all have here and look forward to sharing my projects with you.

Some people are like Slinkies, Their not really good for nothing... But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
